We Have Reached A Different Time

“Half the world is composed of people who have something to say and can’t, and the other half who have nothing to say and keep on saying it”- Robert Frost

We have reached a time where most of the people who possess knowledge, intellect and skills are being silenced by people who are rich, influential or outspoken. A person who is actually worthy will always be down to Earth and polite. Such was the case in the ancient times when most of the successful people were seen to be quite down to Earth. Take for example the prodigy, Ramanujan, who was considered to be a shy person with quiet disposition, dignified with pleasant manners. Wasn’t the genius successful? Yes. He was, and we all know that.

If you know something which can bring about a change, keep working on it without caring for what the world says. Stephen Hawkings was considered a crank at the time when he had first spoken of future travel, but now, after the CERN experiment of sending the neutrinos from Geneva to Italy, future travel into time has become a ground reality.

Now, so far as the teachers, leaders and managers are concerned, I feel that they should not be blindfolded by the fuzziness of richness, influence or confidence of a person. The time has come to recognize true talent, skills, knowledge and hard work, which is eternal and which intelligence and innatism can’t substitute.

I hope that you enjoyed reading about this truth of today’s life. Keep in touch on Medium for further poems, life stories and more interesting stuff.
